Economists from Italy, Poland, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine took part in a scientific conference in Mariupol State University

On December 7 at Mariupol State University passed the V International Scientific and Practical Conference "Peculiarities of the integration of the countries into the world economic, political and political and legal space"

The arranger of the scientific forum traditionally was the Economics and International Economic Relations Department of Mariupol State University in cooperation with the leading universities of Poland, Georgia, Moldova, Bulgaria, the Department of Economics of the Mariupol City Council and the Office of the Donetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Mariupol.

 

About 100 scientists from higher educational establishments from Italy, Poland, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine participated in the conference. In the presented reports, they covered the topics of the development of international financial and credit and currency relations, innovation and investment activities of the countries, inter-industry cooperation and peculiarities of the development of foreign economic and political relations of the countries in the conditions of globalization and other topical issues. In order to assist in choosing a future profession, pupils from the Mariupol secondary schools were invited to the event.

 

At the opening of the conference, Professor Olena Bulatova, the first vice-rector of Mariupol State University, Professor Roman Tolpezhnikov, the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Economics of Mariupol State University, Professor Yuriy Chentukov, the Head of the Economics and International Economic Relations Department of Mariupol State University, Olena Politic, Vice-President of the Donetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Andrey Vysotsky, the manager of the PC "First Ukrainian International Bank" in Mariupol.

 

Today’s conference showed the great scientific potential of MSU students-economists. The winners of the International Competition of Student Scientific and Research Projects in Economics, Master's Degree students, namely: Olga Shkurat, a student of the major “International economics” and Valeriia Gnidina, a 4-th-year-student of the major “International economics” made their scientific reports at the plenary session.

 

Olga Shkurat explored the issue of Ukraine's cooperation with the International Monetary Fund. She considered the stages and goals of the cooperation between Ukraine and IMF, the volume of lending of Ukrainian economy by the international financial institutions from 2007 to 2016, financial positions of Ukraine in the IMF, indicators of the debt security of the state, etc. Valeriia Gnidina presented a comparative analysis of the national innovation systems of China and India.

 

The scientific reports of the participants were published in the conference information package.
