Essays by students of Mariupol State University were published in the Cyprus magazine "Anef"
Essays and stories written by students majoring in "Translation (Modern Greek)" of Mariupol State University were published in the popular Cypriot fiction literature magazine "Anef".
Works by Nataliia Nikiforenko, Hanna Boitsova and Vadim Pokoreiev were approved by the editorial board of the magazine and were offered to continue cooperation as authors of fiction literature and translators of national prose and poetry to Modern Greek. "Writings by Students from Ukraine" – this is the title of a chapter of the magazine, where the works of students of the Greek Philology Faculty are compiled in a cycle "The War Can Affect Each of Us". Master students talked about the situation in the East of Ukraine in their essays, in particular, about the life in front-line Mariupol and the shelling in the "East" microdistrict on January 24th, 2015.
This became possible thanks to the initiative of associate professor of the Department of Greek Philology and Translation Nataliia Voevutko and Greek philologist sent to Mariupol State University by the Ministry of Education, Research and Religion of the Hellenic Republic, Mrs. Efrosini Makri.
We express our sincere gratitude to the editor of the magazine "Anef" Ms. Dina Katsuri for the support of the talented students of Mariupol State University and the cooperation offered.
