Foreign students and students of the Preparatory Department of Mariupol State University took part in the first multi-cultural festival "Multi-National PICNIC. MRPL. 2018 "organized by V.G. Korolenko Central City Library with the support of the International Organization for Migration. The event was held on May 26th in the City Garden.

Representatives of various national-cultural associations and foreign citizens living in Mariupol, joined the presentation of the culture of their nations. Mariupol State University is known for its dynamic international activities, represented by 11 countries: Nepal, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Guinea, Hungary, Ghana, Nigeria, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan.

Within the framework of the festival workshops , flash mobs and other cultural and entertainment events were held, during which residents and guests of Mariupol city got acquainted with the traditions of different peoples of the world. "Multinational PICNIC. MRPL. 2018" gathered representatives of 25 nationalities. Thus, Guinness's record was made for the most multinational picnic held in Ukraine.

All the participants to the festival received memorable gifts with symbolic of Mariupol and Ukraine and wish something to the city and the country.
