On May 24, the international online forum "Ensuring the quality of Higher Education in war conditions" was held. Today's acute topic has brought together representatives of leading institutions and structures of Ukraine. 

The forum was organized by the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education. The meeting was attended by representatives of international agencies for the quality of Education.

Mariupol State University was represented at the event by its head, Professor Mykola Trofymenko. He presented a report on the state of work of Mariupol State University in Kyiv during the war.

Also participants of the forum were: Rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Prykarpathian National University Igor Tsependa, Rector of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Tatiana Kaganovska, Rector of the National Technical University Oleksandr Aziukovskyi, President of the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" Serhii Kvit, Rector of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Volodymyr Buhrov and Vice-Rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University Dmytro Sherenhovskyi. 

Chairman of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education Andrii Butenko, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhii Shkarlet, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation Serhii Babak joined the discussion.
 

Ukrainian Higher Education is consistently moving towards the European Space. We strive to meet the main trends of the world. Unfortunately, today Ukraine is going through difficult times and difficult challenges, but we must state that the educational process in Ukraine continues, 

–  оHead of the Ministry of Education and Science, Sergii Shkarlet.

The forum participants had the opportunity to present their own vision of ensuring the quality of higher education in military realities. In turn, the rector of Mariupol State University, Professor Mykola Trofymenko spoke about the educational situation of Mariupol University and the resumption of work in Kyiv.

We are reviewing all our educational programs and developing a completely new university with a new philosophy in the centre of Ukraine. Mariupol university should be located in Kyiv, because it is a symbol of the restoration of higher education in Ukraine,

Also, during the meeting, the draft National Action Plan for external quality assurance of higher education for the next two years was presented.
