The fifth online training workshop of the Erasmus + INTERADIS project "International Students Adaptation and Integration" took place on 28 April. The final event is organised by the University of Foggia, Italy.

Participants from Mariupol State University included staff from the International Relations Office headed by Lidiia Shevchenko, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Associate Professor Hanna Tryfonova, Associate Professor and Viacheslav Kudlai, Associate Professor of Cultural Science and Information Activity Department.

During the workshop, participants discussed the accessibility of international students with disabilities to the Ukrainian higher education system, the cultural differences of young people and their adaptation to the new environment, and the internationalisation of Ukrainian higher education institutions under pandemic conditions. Among other things, representatives from an Italian university shared their own strategies to attract international students, as well as best practices in adaptation of international students.

As a reminder, MSU became a participant in the Erasmus + INTERADIS project "International Students Adaptation and Integration", which brought together educational institutions and enterprises from Ukraine, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and Lithuania. Its aim is to integrate international students into the Ukrainian and European educational space through cultural, ethnic, social and academic values.
