Katerina Zozulya, a Master's Degree student of the major «Secondary education. Language and Literature (German)» of Mariupol State University attended a seminar «What should student do after graduating from the university?». The arranger of the educational event was the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
The seminar for the students who learn German language took place on June 3-4 in Kyiv. The participants of the event were DAAD lecturers, namely: Olaf Mitteltstrass, Karsten Grunwaldt, Anya Lange and Vera Tersteegen. During the seminar, future graduates learned about the possibilities of getting an education in Germany, the procedure for preparing documents for admission, and also received useful advices for interviewing and correct writing of the resume.
This is a very cool workshop! I got an opportunity to communicate with the students of higher educational institutions from all over Ukraine. We discussed hot-spot issues, because after graduation, each of us dreams to find a good job. During the seminar, I got a lot of useful information from DAAD lecturers, which showed us through the examples what should be noticed in the process of writing a resume or during an interview with a potential employer. I am sure that such workshops are necessary for young people,
