Folk dance ensemble “Promin” and vocal studio “Soprano” of Mariupol State University took part in the II International online festival-contest “Future Stars”.

The event was held online with the support of Sopravista Events, an organisation specialising in international folklore and contemporary art festivals across Italy and beyond.

The Mariupol State University creative teams, led by artistic directors Anastasiia Tokhtar, Oleksandr Kabanov and Anna Shybaieva, presented videos of their best work, which were highly appreciated by the professional jury.

Based on the results of the II International festival-contest "Future Stars", the ensemble "Promin" won first place and the vocal studio "Soprano" won the Grand Prix and a voucher for 300 euros to participate in the festival of their choice from the Italian organisers.
