On September 9th -12th dance group "Kores" of the Faculty of Greek Philology of Mariupol State University represented Ukraine in Larnaca (Cyprus) at the XI International Mediterranean Folklore Dance Festival. The girls performed dances of different regions of our homeland to the audience. Dancers from Israel, Croatia, Georgia, Armenia, Egypt, Greece and Cyprus have also represented their countries. The festival is held annually with the support of the Mayor’s Office of Larnaca, Cultural Heritage Foundation of Nicosia, and Tourism Development Organization of Larnaca.
Dance group "Kores" took part in the ceremonial event organized by the Embassy of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus dedicated to the celebration of the Independence Day of Ukraine on September 8th. | |
