The staff of Mariupol State University took part in the seminar "Image and strategic planning of institutional development of higher educational institutions" held on November 21-22 in Kyiv.
The event was organized within the framework of the project "Strengthening the role of Ukrainian universities for sustainable development" implemented by the Fulbright Program in Ukraine with the financial support of the US Embassy in Ukraine.
The seminar was attended by the first Vice-rector of MSU, Professor Olena Bulatova, Executive Secretary of the Admission Committee, Associate Professor Yuliia Demidova and Head of the Educational Department, senior lecturer Mariia Zimina.
The event was held by American and Ukrainian experts in the field of higher education. The seminar participants learned about the creation and implementation of an effecient internal system of providing high-quality education, requirements for monitoring the quality of higher education in Ukraine in the work of the National Agency for Quality Provision in Higher Education, point of view of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the further development of Ukrainian relocated universities. The teachers together with experts also analyzed examples of strategic planning of higher education institutions in Ukraine.
Within the framework of the project, three more seminars and a number of events will be held to help representatives of universities in creating efficient strategic plans for the development of their educational institutions that will best meet the needs of universities, students, employers and local communities. Also, HEI-participants of the project will receive the necessary logistics.
