MSU scientists reported on the implementation of the Erasmus+ project

Associate Professor Olena Gilchenko, Head of the Department of International Relations and Foreign Policy, Associate Professor Yulia Konstantynova and Associate Professor Anna Tryfonova, Head of the  Italian Philology Department of Mariupol State University took part in the workshop of the consortium of the participating universities of the Erasmus+ project «Reassessment of Regional Studies: Baltic and Black Sea Connection», which took place from June 26 to June 29 at Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University.

The event was attended by scientists from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the University of Tartu (Estonia), the University of Vytautas the Great (Lithuania), Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland).


Participants discussed programs of the courses within the frameworks of the new English-language master's program «Baltic and Black Sea regional studios», which will be implemented in Lviv.


The MSU scientists presented English language courses «Ethnopolitical dynamics in the Baltic and Black Sea region» (developed by Associate Professor Sergiy Pakhomenko, Associate Professor Anastasia Trofymenko) and «Media, Communication and Information Wars in the Baltic and Black Sea Region» (developed by Associate Professor Anna Tryfonova). In addition, teachers shared their teaching experience.
 

The interesting thing for our colleagues from other universities was our practice with the involvement of practicing specialists and other interested persons in the educational process. For example, within the frameworks of the course «Ethnopolitical dynamics in the Baltic and Black Sea region», ambassadors of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia met with students. The experience of receiving feedback through the Facebook was also interesting,

The representatives of universities members of the consortium have also focused on the issues of introducing courses into the educational process and the prospects for further project work.
