MSU students introduced Mariupol residents to Europe

Which country is a motherland of construction toy Lego? On the territory of what country is the largest amount of volcanos in Europe? In what country the marriages are strongest? Students of Mariupol State University conducted a quiz for the Day of Europe.

Each year, on the third Saturday of May, Mariupol residents celebrate this holiday as a sign of cultural and spiritual unity with the countries of the European Union. Traditionally, the co-organizers of the event were the students of the major "International Relations", which are the part of the youth public organization "League of Political Scientists and specialists on international affairs "Dipkorpus".

This year, during a holiday program for the Day of Europe, students offered Mariupol residents to test the knowledge of foreign languages, European countries and their capitals. The most well-known participants got prizes with the European Union symbols.

We remind you that by the initiative of MSU students in 2004 in Mariupol was the celebration of the Day of Europe for the first time. The youth of the university are actively interested in issues on European integration and are directly involved in disseminating information about the EU, popularizing European culture and values.
