Mariupol State University participated in the International Education Fair 2021, held from 25 March to 3 April in Kazakhstan. This year's event took place online and attracted participants from more than 500 higher education institutions.
The geography of the online exhibition included some 40 countries, including Australia, Azerbaijan, the UK, Poland, Germany, the USA and Canada. Ukraine was represented at the international event by MSU Rector, Professor Mykola Trofymenko, Vice Rector for International Relations, Professor Olena Pavlenko and Head of International Relations Office Lidiia Shevchenko.
During online meetings with representatives of Mariupol State University, school pupils and students from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan raised questions about the specifics of international students entering Ukrainian higher education institutions, tuition fees, living conditions in student dormitories, availability of academic literature, activities of student clubs and international recognition of a single classical university of Donetsk region.
MSU representatives received certificates as a result of their participation in the International Education Fair. Participation in such events is a qualitative indicator of the university's international activities, as well as an important part of the university's internationalization.
