Olexander Komarov, Master's Degree student of MSU is a bronze medalist of the World Swimming Championship

The World Paralympic Championships took place in London from September 9 to September 15, bringing together over 600 athletes from 37 countries. Olexander Komarov and Danylo Chufarov, Master's Degree student of Mariupol State University, multiple winners of the Paralympic Games, European and World Championships, joined the national team of Ukraine at the championship.

Within the frameworks of the competition, Olexander Komarov won the bronze medal in the 100-metre freestyle springs. The athlete also took 5th place in the 50m freestyle springs and 11th in the 100m breaststroke springs. Danylo Chufarov took the 6th place in the 200-metre distance by comprehensive swimming and the 9th place in the 400-metre freestyle springs. 


According to the results of the World Cup 2019, the Ukrainian national team won the largest number of the medals - 55: 17 gold medals, 22 silver medals and 16 bronze medals.


We remind you that Olexander Komarov is a graduate of the major "International Economics" and is currently studying for a master's degree program "Public Management and Administration". Danylo Chufarov got a degree in "Management".
