An English language workshop was held for students of Mariupol City Lyceum on June 4th at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Mariupol State University. The lesson was held by Ph.D. student of the University of Manchester from Hungary, Anna Balazs, who undertakes scientific internship at the premises of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology of Mariupol State University.

Anna shared her own experience of familiarizing with the culture and everyday life of a foreign country, she told about the tradition of celebrating national holidays in the UK and how English youth spend their free time and what kind of sports they prefer.

There was a friendly atmosphere in the classroom that contributed to active foreign language communication. During the language practice, the participants discussed the rules of conduct common to the British, the forms of greetings and appeals to others. The daily lives of British youth was of particular interest among students.
