Professor from Canada, Marta Dyczok together with the instructors and students from MSU discussed the problem of the media influence
Professor of The University of Western Ontario, research worker of the University of Toronto's Centre for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies Marta Dyczok has been dealing with the subject of the media’s social role evolution both in Canada and Ukraine for many years. Professor shared her media research results with colleagues and students as well as with problems in information sphere discussed in Canada.

In the course of discussion they have exchanged information and ideas about the tendencies in media development as well as the role of public television, the influence of political and economic elite on the media and tabloidization problems. The meeting was held with the participation of famous journalist and media trainer Andrii Kulikov and the Dean of the Faculty of Philology and Mass Communications, Professor Svitlana Bezchotnikova.

Sharing thoughts with scholars from abroad helps students of specialty “Journalism” and “Advertising and Public Relations” not only deepen knowledge of their professional sphere but also find out more about the views of different scholar schools and sharing a world top-notch experience.
