On May 19th, Mariupol hosted a celebration of the Day of Europe. The City Council has organized an extensive program for residents, aimed at familiarizing them with European countries, their history and culture.

Students of Mariupol State University were also involved in the celebration. They acted as coordinators of the Lingva-time location aimed to promote the study of foreign languages.

Students offered Mariupol residents to study the most common phrases in foreign languages - English, German, Greek, Italian, Polish, as well as to test their level of knowledge of foreign languages. To encourage the audience, volunteers of Mariupol State University organized quizzes with prizes.

The tradition of celebrating the Day of Europe in Mariupol was initiated by the students of Mariupol State University, members of the public organization "League of Political Scientists and International Relations Specialists" DIPCORPUS.
