The MSU student got the leading role in a documentary movie and visited Germany

Sergey Lysyura, second-year-student of the major "Translation (English)" of Mariupol State University visited the presentation of the documentary film "Anja und Serjoscha" in Germany at the invitation of "Filmkantine".

Sergey Lysyura, second-year-student of the major "Translation (English)" of Mariupol State University visited the presentation of the documentary film "Anja und Serjoscha" in Germany at the invitation of "Filmkantine".


The film is about two students who live in an industrial city near the military zone. Despite all the hardships they are trying to be bright, to have an independent of external influence worldview and to hold public events with a social context and the most importantly thing is to be the best friends.


Presentation of the "Anja und Serjoscha" film was held at the Berlin "Colloseum" Cinema. Also during this presentation, German audience could see the film "Sho Sho? (Eastern Ukrainian Dialogue)", directed by Sasha Protyag, Mariupol filmmaker. The audience warmly watched these films. After this was a discussion of cultural life in Ukraine.


"Anja und Serjoscha" film was also presented at the gymnasium of West German Mors town, where the film's characters talked with students and teachers, told about life at the East of Ukraine. After that, they attended the Humboldt University of Berlin, where they met with those students, who were majors in Slavic studies.
