Third-year-students of the major "Secondary education" of Mariupol State University have a teaching practice for three weeks at the institutions of general secondary education in Mariupol. Pedagogics and Education Department is an institutor of this practice.
During the practice, future teachers acquire the skills of planning the educational work of a class master, learn how to work with the class and individual students, taking into account their age and individual characteristics, and reinforce the ability to analyze the educational process. Particular attention is paid to the development of knowledge on the methodology of educational work, the acquisition of modern educational technologies, to gain an advanced pedagogical experience.
One of the tasks of the practice is to conduct an educational event. Yes, foreign students, who study in the speciality "Secondary education. Language and Literature (Russian)» introduced the students of the Gymnasium-School №27 to the national customs and traditions of Turkmenistan.
Students prepared an interactive presentation of their culture: they were stood good national dishes (pilaw, baursak, ishkelki), sang, danced, and played folk musical instruments. Also, the pupils introduced the guests to the Ukrainian culture: they read poems and sang folk songs. During the meeting, the representatives of two cultures exchanged keepsakes.
Such experience of multicultural education is very important for future teachers and contributes to expanding students’ world outlook.
There is an interesting fact! In Turkmenistan, junior pupils go to school in green-colored national clothes, high school and lyceum pupils wear blue clothes, and students - red one.
