MSU continues to develop internationalisation of educational process and research activity as a member of the European Universities Alliance

Mariupol State University has joined the Transform4Europe Alliance of European Universities this year in May. MSU has a wide international profile that’s why it is a worthy partner of the international university association.

The Alliance was establish as a project supported by the program of ERASMUS+.Its partners are HEIs of Europe, namely Saarland University (Germany), the University of Alicante (Spain), the Estonian Academy of Arts (Estonia), the University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland), Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski (Bulgaria), the University of Trieste (Italy), Vytautas Magnus University in Kauna s (Lithuania), Jean Monnet University (France), the University of Primorska (Slovenia) and the Catholic University of Portugal.


Director of the Center for International Education of Mariupol State University Iryna Sikorska attended the conference, which took place in the University of Saarland from 17 to 19 of October. Representative of MSU contributed to the discussion of the prospects of university cooperation with the Alliance’s partners taking into account the current situation in Ukraine.


The Alliance of European Universities sees its mission in the transformation of Europe through preparation of the «knowledge-entrepreneurs». The purpose of his activity involves increasing quality of education, strengthening international cooperation, exchange of ideas and best practices for the professional development of lecturers, but also getting by students European educational experience and intercultural competences. 


Due to membership academic community of Mariupol State University has the opportunity to participate in the project activities: to take part in conferences, workshops and trainings of the universities-partners of the Alliance. Students have the possibility to engage in the education at the European universities of the Alliance, to take part in extracurricular activities.
