President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou expressed her support for the staff of Mariupol State University on behalf of the Greek government and people.

Katerina Sakellaropoulou notes that MSU has always been one of the leading centres of cooperation between eastern Ukraine and foreign countries in the field of Education, Science and Culture, the Centre of spiritual revival of the Greeks of Ukraine. 

In these difficult times for the Ukrainian state and your HEI, I want to assure you that the Greek people will continue to support Mariupol State University both at its temporary location in Kyiv and after its return to Mariupol.

We are ready to contribute to the development of the Faculty of Greek Philology and Translation, further strengthen cooperation between Mariupol State University and Greek universities, and restore the work of the Center for Hellenistic Studies,
