Mariupol State University was awarded a certificate for the largest venue hosting the largest English language lesson in Ukraine outside Lviv. This lesson was organized as a part of «Україна Speaking» campaign coordinated by the GoGlobal team and the US Embassy to Ukraine. MSU also was given a «Britain from above. Month by month» book with telling illustrations depicting British landscape in different seasons. It is to be recalled that the most attended English language lesson in the history of Ukraine was conducted on May 28, 2016. That day, thousands of Ukrainians were studying English interactively in a form of a speaking club. Mariupol State University was the venue which hosted the lesson in Mariupol. It was attended by approx. 400 students. The largest English language lesson was organized as a part of a celebration of the Days of America with the assistance of Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, Capital English Program, British Council Ukraine, America House and Window on America. | |
