International Students Adaptation and Integration: MSU learns about best German practices

On 16 April, staff from the International Relations Office of Mariupol State University, led by Head of Department Lidiia Shevchenko, took part in the third online training workshop organised within the Erasmus+ project "International Students Adaptation and Integration".

The project brought together educational institutions and enterprises from Ukraine, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and Lithuania. Its aim is to integrate international students into the Ukrainian and European educational space through cultural, ethnic, social and academic values. The event was hosted by the University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden.


The programme of the online meeting included an analysis of survey outcome of international students, academic and administrative staff at Ukrainian higher education institutions and project partners. During the workshop, participants learned about the main tools used by the HEI to coordinate the international students: Mobility Online, Orientation Days, Buddy program. Meanwhile German educators shared the best practices of the University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden and networking possibilities for international offices in German.
