MSU joined the Alliance of European Universities

Mariupol State University has become a member of the TRANSFORM4EU Alliance of European Universities. This decision was made on May 9 during a meeting of the Executive Board of the Alliance.

Mariupol State University was represented at the event by Rector, Professor Mykola Trofymenko and Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Affairs (International Cooperation), Professor Olena Pavlenko.


Joining the Alliance is another important step in establishing partnerships with leading HEIs of the European Union. The Alliance's members are universities of Germany, Spain, Estonia, Poland, Bulgaria, Italy, and Lithuania.

Joining the Alliance opens up great prospects for Mariupol University, namely participation in the development of joint educational programs, introduction of an innovative environment for educating students according to the latest European standards, creation of communication platforms for learning and educating.
 

We are building a completely new University, with a new philosophy and the goal of restoring Mariupol after the war with MSU in the centre of events. We hope that the Alliance of European Universities will help us improve our curricula and contribute to the Victory of Ukraine in the war against russia on the Educational and Information front,

Also in his address to the members of the Alliance, the Head of Mariupol State University, Mykola Trofymenko, told what the only classical University in Donetsk region was like before the war and what goals he sets for himself now and after the Victory over the russian occupier.
