Mariupol State University and the U.C.M.Association – Italy "Mediterranean Union of Chefs – Italy" (Foggia, Italy) with the support of the Italian cooking school Settima Luna signed a bilateral partnership agreement on the organization of international internship.

On March 2, Paolo Brescia, the President of the Association, Oleksandra Kovbasa, Euroest Project Manage, and Olena Gerasymenko, Project Manager, Coordinator of International Practice in Ukraine met with students majoring in Management, Tourism, International Economic Relations, and Translation (Italian) at the Faculty of Law and Economics.

The stakeholders invited young people to do an internship at a hotel and restaurant business enterprises in Italy as part of the Euroest project. Students will be able to develop professional skills in the positions of assistant waiter, cook, pizza chef, bartender, manager. The internship will also help to study the culture of the country and improve the level of Italian language proficiency.  

In order to prepare for a successful internship for students wishing to participate in the project, from March on the basis of MSU will be free Italian language courses and workshops on cooking traditional Italian dishes.

The Euroest project gives young people the opportunity to enter the world of gastronomic traditions of Southern Italy and upon completion of the internship, to receive a certificate from the Italian cooking school Settima Luna. The certificate will allow students to successfully find employment both in Ukraine and in the countries of the European Union.
