The EU Delegation to Ukraine conducted a number of awareness-raising activities on the basis of Mariupol State University. The events took place during the official visit of the EU Delegation to Mariupol.
The events were purposed to explain the importance of implementing the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, spreading European values and raising awareness of Ukrainians about the development of relations between Ukraine and the EU.
On October 29, MSU students and school students tested their knowledge about the European Union during the game "Eurosession". The aim of the game concerned the EU member states: their sights, outstanding figures, works of culture, historical events, traditions, etc. According to the results of the intellectual competition, the team of the Ecology major, which included the students of the IV year and master's degree, won. All the participants received gifts from the organizers with the symbols of the European Union.
On October 30, a discussion-training "European Projects Lab for NGOs" was held for representatives of public organizations, charitable foundations and educational institutions. The event included a presentation of project initiatives and anti-training "How not to get a grant from a donor". The expert at the event was the project manager of the CO "Institute of social policy of the region", Associate Professor Oleg Kulinich.
Also, at the initiative of the EU delegation, a seminar for entrepreneurs was held in the university, where the participants learned about the opportunities for Ukrainian businessmen to participate in EU trade exhibitions, about ways to promote companies on trade missions and EU programs for entrepreneurs.
