Representatives of Mariupol State University took part in the First DUTH International Week online internship at the Democritus University of Thrace as part of the international Erasmus+ project.

More than 80 educators from higher education institutions in 23 countries participated in the internship. From MSU, the project was joined by Lidiia Shevchenko, Head of the International Relations Office; Yuliia Zharikova, Head of the Greek Philology and Translation Department; Olena Peftiieva, Acting Head of the Theory and Practice of Translation Department; and Natalia Marakhovska, Associate Professor of the Italian Philology Department.

Participants learned about the structure and main activities of the University of Thrace and presented their universities. Teachers also exchanged ideas and good teaching practices and shared their experiences of participating in international academic mobility programmes in distance learning environments.
 

We learned about the new opportunities of Erasmus+ 2021-2027, the challenges of Covid-19 and the digital tools of higher education. The programme included discussions on enhancing the productivity of educational activities in distance learning, open education, ways to manage time, motivation and emotions. Teacher self-realisation and professional development were not neglected either,
