Oksana Danilenko, Professor of German and French Philology Department of Mariupol State University attended the seminar “Lively stories - country studies during the classes of German language”, which was held in Kiev On November 29-30. The event, which was arranged by Goethe-Institut, gathered professors of higher educational establishments from different parts of Ukraine.

Katarina Klemens, the expert of Goethe-Institut, gave this seminar and paid the attention of the audience to the linguistic and cultural studies aspect of teaching German language.

Interesting facts from the history of Germany, modern methods of teaching (method of training stations, "cocktail party", work with modern songs, etc.), authentic materials and ready-made methodical guidance and with such luggage of knowledge Oksana Danilenko returned from Goethe-Institut. Students of the major "Language and Literature (German)" of MSU have already been able to assess new approaches to learning foreign language.
