In the event of the Science Festival, on May 19 th -22d, Mariupol State University students attended lectures by Professor Gianfranco Tamburelli - Team Leader of the Institute for International Legal Studies of the National Research Council.

On Friday, students majoring in Law and Ecology, Environmental Protection and Sustainable Management of Natural Resources attended the lecture "Modern trends in international environmental law" in English. The next day, an Italian scientist delivered a lecture to future international political scientists titled "The EU- Ukraine Relations". .

Professor Tamburelli spoke on the topic of Modern political and economic situation in Italy, the challenges and problems of the EU with students studying Italian. The lecture was conducted at the Italian cultural center of Mariupol State University.

Gianfranco Tamburelli is a researcher with more than twenty years of experience. He is an expert in international cooperation on sustainable economic development, implementation of international law and European Union law in the framework of internal law, harmonization of normative acts of the countries of Eastern Europe with the EU law. He is the author of about 60 articles, notes, reviews and online publications.

This is not the first visit of Professor Tamburelli to Mariupol State University. This is the result of many years of fruitful cooperation between the University and the Italian Institute of Culture in Kyiv and the Embassy of Italy in Ukraine.
