On June 6, German and French Philology Department of Mariupol State University organized a vocational guidance for the pupils of the 8th and 10th forms of Mariupol Municipal Lyceum.

Svitlana Ganzhelo, Professor of the department told about the peculiarities of studying at the major «Language and Literature (German)» and conducted a master class in German language «Traveling through the Countries of Europe».

The lesson was aimed at improving language skills and was conducted in accordance with the latest approaches in foreign languages teaching by using communicative and gaming techniques as well as off-line learning.

German and French Philology Department fruitfully cooperates with Mariupol Municipal Lyceum. Students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Department undertake an internship at the lyceum, which allows them to gain a pedagogical experience under the guidance of skilled teachers. Besides, students actively participate in events promoting the study of German language, which the department conducts.
