On May 23, an online meeting of representatives of Mariupol State University and the University of Hull (Great Britain) was held.
On behalf of Mariupol State University, Rector, Professor Mykola Trofymenko and Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Affair (International Relations), Professor Olena Pavlenko took part in the discussion of future areas of cooperation.

Cooperation between the two universities will contribute to the development of Double Degree programs, participation in academic mobility programs, access to online educational courses and a Scientific Library, and exchange of experience in areas of mutual interest.

The head of MSU told his British colleagues about the priority tasks that the University set for itself when resuming work in Kyiv, in particular, the development of an up-to-date development strategy and the opening of new educational programs together with partners.

Speaking about the University of Mariupol, Mykola Trofymenko did not ignore the tragedy of the city of Maria.

Mariupol State University is the only Higher Education Institution named after Mariupol. This is a symbol that should be at the centre of all events. Our goal is to draw the world's attention to Mariupol and what the russian occupation forces have done to it,
